All American Propane West, LLC was started in 2007 by Mark & Debbie Gerdts.  Mark and Debbie both graduated from Tumwater High School in 1985.   Mark's father owned and operated C&D propane from 1973 to 1997.  Mark had grown up at C&D grinding and painting tanks, fixing heaters and filling bottles.  After spending 4 years in the Army after high school Mark attended South Puget sound community college and then Saint Martin's college graduating with a BA in Accounting.  Mark found the accounting less than satisfying so he decided to go back to propane and named the company All American Propane after the All American Division he served with, the famed 82nd Airborne Division.
